Air tightness, leakage and energy efficiency tests are important aspects of any renovation or building project. Building Regulations now require Air Tightness Testing and certification to show compliance with current legislation. Air Tight Solutions provides air leakage testing, otherwise known as air permeability tests.

Air tightness testing is the procedure to trace any unwanted drafts and uncontrolled airflow through the house. Too much air leakage leads to heat loss resulting in higher CO2 emissions. Air tightness testing, air leakage testing and air permeability testing will highlight any uncontrolled airflow and help reduce CO2 emissions.

Air Tight Solutions will test your building to ATTMA TS1 standards using UKAS calibrated equipment. We can help identify any air leakage paths which may need to be sealed.

• Windows and Doors - ensure a good seal behind plaster board and finishing
• Boxed in Pipes - seal when pipes/soil stacks go into the roof space
